There are 3 ways that you can donate: Individual gifts, Gifts of Stock and securities, Honorary & Memorial Gifts
Gift of Stocks and securities
Transferring stock or securities is an excellent way to support the life-saving mission of Health To Hope, and provides significant benefits such as:
* A charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value of the gifted long-term securities.
* Elimination of capital gains tax that would ordinarily become due if you sell the appreciated securities on the open market and donated the proceeds of the sale to Health Center.
To make a gift of stock or securities, please notify our Director of Finance in advance of stock transfers so that we can instruct our broker to accept your gift, track it, and acknowledge it properly for income tax purposes. You may email or fax to:

Honorary & Memorial Gifts
For more than 15 years, Health To Hope Clinic has served tens of thousands of homeless and low income people whose personal stories represent our important work – work ensuring that everyone has access to the outstanding healthcare we all deserve. Your honorary or memorial gift to Health To Hope Clinics helps us to continue that work.
Make a gift that honors someone important to you. Your support to Health To Hope may recognize someone on a special occasion or honor the memory of someone in your life in a meaningful way. Make your gift memorial or honorary gift by clicking below:
Health To Hope Clinics will recognize your honoree with a personalized note card that informs your recipient that a gift has been made – the gift amount is not specified to your honoree. A gift in memory of a loved one will be recognized with a letter to the individual(s) you designate.
All contributions to Howard Brown Health are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
To make an honorary or memorial gift, specify your honoree and addresses with your online donation, or contact Bill Scott, Director of Accounting, to make your gift by phone.

Every one of us can do something to make a difference – volunteering as a mentor, helping with clerical needs, cooking a meal, advisory board members or fundraising support. The opportunities are endless.
Health To Hope Clinics started with a team of medical volunteers and the tradition continues. Today our volunteers help in many of our programs. We strive for volunteer involvement at all levels as we believe that our volunteers play an integral role on the delivery of services to the homeless. Some of the best reasons to give are the ones you may not have considered – the ones that make it worth your while to go that extra step.
People who have spent time volunteering for a cause report that they get back in satisfaction and joy more than they ever expend in inconvenience or effort – what you get back is immeasurable. You’ll also receive these benefits:
* Volunteering makes a difference in the life of a young person.
* Volunteering makes you feel needed.
* Volunteering can lead to learning new skills.
* Volunteering helps you meet new people and breaks down barriers of misunderstanding, mistrust and fear.
* Volunteering can create new contacts which may help your business or career.
* Volunteering makes you proud!
You might be thinking, “The little bit that I can do will never help much!” or “What in the world can I do?” If you’ve ever spent ten minutes talking to a homeless person, you know that even that small amount of compassion and attention can make a world of difference. No one person can solve the world’s problems, but what little you do can make your little corner of the world – or one far away from yours a happier, healthier, safer place to live for those who need your help. Each of us can little bit that makes a big difference in the community!
